NCCE National Digital and Cyber Specialism
As part of our commitment to the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE), Kings Priory Digital proudly holds the prestigious role of National Cyber Specialist. In this capacity, we are dedicated to refining, recommending, and advancing the curriculum with a specialised focus on cyber education, ensuring the highest standards are met across both primary and secondary education.
Working closely with Kings Priory School, we have developed a cutting-edge cyber curriculum, establishing the school as a true leader and beacon in cyber education. Kings Priory School has become a flagship institution, recognised as a Cyber First Gold School by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and recently honoured with the coveted Cyber School of the Year 2024 award at the National Cyber Awards.
Our primary cyber education specialisation, led by Sarah Zaman, brings expert insight into developing a robust and engaging curriculum for younger students, fostering a foundation in cyber awareness from the start of their educational journey. At the secondary level, Nikolaus Kelsey heads our specialist team, enhancing the curriculum to equip students with the skills needed for the digital landscape, helping to prepare the next generation of cyber professionals.
Resource Creation
At Kings Priory Digital, we are driven by a passion for hands-on learning and bringing education to life. We design immersive experiences for both the education sector and industry, rooted in essential cyber principles and powered by the spirit of collaboration. Our mission is to inspire, engage, and equip learners with practical skills that resonate far beyond the classroom.
You have just joined the elite team at Bletchley Park as WRENS operatives! Your mission: to intercept and decode crucial intelligence flooding into their Hut, and to track the positions of the infamous German Wolf pack – Raufbold (BULLY) – which includes U-boats U-135, U-203, U-211, U-356, U-409, U-410, U-439, U-600, U-609, U-610, U-621, U-623, and U-644.
Upon your arrival, you receive exciting news: key intelligence seized by HMS Petard on 24th November has finally been decoded! This breakthrough provides access to a rare 4-rotor Enigma program – but there’s a catch. To unlock its secrets, you must first crack the four rotor enigma settings, which are hidden within a series of complex ciphers. The clock is ticking, and the stakes are high!
Will you manage to decipher the codes and help turn the tide of the war?
Cyber Forensics
Coming soon in 2024 is Cyber Forensics, an immersive experience that transports students into the thrilling world of digital forensics investigations!
In this exciting programme, students will receive a briefing via video link about an imminent cyber attack orchestrated by an individual in communication with a non-UK-based group aiming to destabilise UK society. Participants will step into a meticulously recreated forensic crime scene, fully equipped in hazmat suits, ready to take on a series of challenging tasks to uncover the location of the impending attack while gathering crucial clues along the way.
One of the first challenges will involve profiling the suspect to obtain their username and password. This includes conducting a physical search of the room, testing students’ skills and wits before they can access the computer and dive deeper into the investigation.
Cyber Forensics promises to be an exhilarating blend of education and adventure, where students and industry professionals collaborate in a race against time to crack the case!
